Employees pursuing higher education related to certain roles at Deaconess can qualify for up to $5,250 in tuition reimbursement per calendar year. Some programs have the ability for tuition assistance, which can cover portions of the out-of-pocket expense to employees.

Due to strong partnerships Deaconess has cultivated, some schools will defer tuition costs exclusively for Deaconess employees.

Deaconess has created a specific program to support our full-time employees that have a passion to pursue a clinical licensed degree. The program is designed to provide eligible employees with an opportunity to receive pay for hours spent attending class or completing online course work. Employees can maintain their full-time benefits and pay, while pursing their degree. (Select programs apply)

For select clinical professional roles, Deaconess will assist with the Student Loan burden that employees have previously acquired. Qualified employee can receive up to $100/hr month, paid directly to their loan provider.

Our educational benefit partner services employees through improving Student Loan Wellness. This free program helps Deaconess employees manage student loans and education expenses now, and in the future. The service includes student loan coaching, information about public service loan forgiveness programs, a marketplace for refinancing existing student loans, and details about college savings and finance options for children in your family.

Deaconess is a non-profit organization, allowing employees eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Our benefit provider helps navigate the eligibility and application process at no charge.
